Monthly statements will be sent via email 3 days prior to the start of the next month. Your statement will show the invoice for the upcoming month as well as any past due amounts and/or late fees. Payments are due on the 1st of each month and late fees are assessed after 7 days.

You can also pay online by logging into your account. You must have an email on file in order to create an online account to use online bill pay and set up autopay. Please call our office if you need assistance setting up your online account 515-597-7867.

We recommend you use D-Con and protect your contents with some type of dust cover.
Never put anything wet or damp in your unit–it will just add moisture to the air and make everything else damp as well! No damp boxes or clothes. Place items on wooden pallets or strips–concrete floors draw moisture.
Check your self-storage space periodically, as ultimately you’re responsible for the condition of everything that’s in there.
Keep one or more containers of DampRid Moisture Absorber in your storage unit at all times. You simply place a container of DampRid moisture-absorbing crystals in your unit and they’ll absorb the excess moisture from the air
Make sure your door lock is engaged and your padlock is secure before leaving.
Mr. Storage offers Safestor Tenant Insurance Policies for all tenants.
Returned check fee is $40.

Move Out Procedure: Fourteen (14) days written notice given by Occupant is required. Owner does not prorate partial month’s rent. Prepaid full month’s rent shall be returned to Occupant within twenty-one (21) days of vacating the unit, provided the space is left vacant and broom clean. Owner may dispose of any property left on the premises by Occupant after Occupant has terminated his or her tenancy. Occupant shall be responsible for paying all costs incurred by Owner in disposing of such property

Refund Policy: Unit must be cleaned and swept out to finalize the move out process. Once the unit is cleaned out, Mr. Storage will inspect and send a refund of the deposit, if any paid if the unit was left in satisfactory condition.
Forgot to set up autopay? No worries–we are here to help. Please call 515-597-7867 and one of our Customer Service Managers can assist. You can also log into your account under the Pay Bill link listed above.
Payment is due on the 1st of every month. A $15 late fee is charged after the 7th of the month.
If payment is still not received on the 7th, a second lock will be put on the unit. Once the account is in good standing, the extra lock is removed.
If all rent and fees have not been paid by the 30th day , the auction process will begin. Tenants will have 14 days to bring the account to good standing in order to suspend the auction. Once you have entered the Auction process there will be a $20 fee to cancel the auction. Mr. Storage reserves the right to request the payment in cash, cashier's check, or money order.
